It would be great to have the miner use the survey scanner to short cycle the mining laser.
I have done the numbers and this simple change would increase m3 mined by as much as 60%.
CCP has nerfed the ore belts and anomalies, the asteroids now have up to 66% less ore which means a lot of time is wasted in nearly empty asteroids.
Since we can't run away from that fact upgrading the miner module with a simple laser short cycle script would be an amazing addition.
