Bug #1898
Inquisitor CAs incorrectly marked as Flanking Only
Description
Inquisitors that opt for the right-side prestige spec end-line of Divine Retribution benefit from additional damage to four of their primary combat art attacks:
- Writhing Strike
- Invocation Strike
- Strike of Flames
- Strike of Corruption
Additionally, one extra strike to each of the four CA's listed above will be dealt if the Inquisitor is flanking the mob. This additional language added to the CA's, I believe, is causing the Ogre Export for CA's to improperly list all four of the CA's as "Flanking Only." From a recent ogre export:
<Setting Name="Writhing Strike" AbilityLineID="2138638112" ID="2138638112" PowerCost="93" MainIconID="182" RecastTime="6.000000" DissonanceCostPerTick="0" MagicDmg="TRUE" DoesDmg="TRUE" ReqFlanking="TRUE" MeleeDmg="TRUE" MentalDmg="TRUE" IsSingleTargetAbility="TRUE" TargetType="1" MinRange="0.000000" SavageryCost="0" HOIconID="14" MaxDuration="10.800000" HealthCostPerTick="0" MaxAOETargets="0" SpellBookType="1" MaxRange="10.000000" DissonanceCost="0" CastingTime="0.250000" PowerCostPerTick="0" DoesNotExpire="FALSE" GroupRestricted="FALSE" EffectRadius="0.000000" IsBeneficial="FALSE" HealthCost="0" ConcentrationCost="0" RecoveryTime="0.350000" NumClasses="0" SavageryCostPerTick="0" BackDropIconID="315" AllowRaid="FALSE" Range="10.000000" IsASingleTargetHostile="TRUE">Writhing Strike</Setting>
Note that these abilities are not flanking-only attacks, and are critical for Inquisitor DPS in most scenarios (particularly because they contribute to combat mitigation debuff and other other spell-type mitigation debuffs. As it stands, the only way to remedy this and get inquisitor DPS back on track is to manually edit the XML file each time an ogre export is done.
