just posting this as a follow up to our conversation today...
Example: if your in a raid with other people and the Illy in your group has a macro for timewarp that sends a groupsay "timewarp in 5" would it be possible to have ogre see that chat message and give the ability to cast certain spells based on your selection from a dropdown list in the ogre setup (if not on cooldown)... this could be useful for other classes as well ie combat mastery, recording vc's ect...

This is capable with the new chat events tab in Ogrebot.
